All data stored by Zenvoy is encrypted at rest using SQLCipher with AES-256 encryption, the same standard used by banks and governments. Particularly sensitive facts can be protected with additional PIN-derived encryption that requires your passcode to decrypt.

When you enable sync, your data is encrypted on your device before being sent to iCloud using CloudKit. The encryption keys are derived from your Apple ID and device credentials, meaning only your devices can decrypt the data. Apple cannot read your synced data.

Raw audio recordings, screen captures, original documents, and any unprocessed content never leave your device. Only encrypted facts, summaries, and relationship data are synced when you enable cross-device sync.

No. Zenvoy has no remote access to your data. All processing happens locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store or process user data. Your facts exist only on your devices.

You can delete individual facts, entire time periods, or all data from within the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent. If you have sync enabled, deletions propagate to all your devices. Uninstalling the app removes all local data.
